Three steps to clarity.

Connect once, get actionable specs every week.

Step 1

Connect your GitHub repo

Read-only access via GitHub App. NextSpec parses your code through AST analysis with tree-sitter — understanding your stack, architecture, modules, and existing features. A living Code Map of your project is created instantly.

Step 2

Market Radar scans daily

Every day, NextSpec scans Reddit, Hacker News, Product Hunt, competitor blogs and changelogs. Finds relevant trends, new competitor features, user pain points, and emerging opportunities in your niche — all on autopilot.

Step 3

Get specs, ship smarter

AI cross-references market signals with your Code Map. You get concrete recommendations: what to build, why (with data), how it maps to your code, and a detailed spec ready to paste into Cursor or Claude Code. Review, approve, build.

Frequently asked questions.

Everything you need to know before getting started.

What access does NextSpec need to my repo?

Read-only access via a GitHub App. NextSpec never writes to your repository, never stores your source code, and never shares it. We only analyze the AST structure to understand your architecture.

How is this different from just using ChatGPT for market research?

NextSpec continuously monitors real-time sources (Reddit, HN, PH, competitor changelogs) and cross-references signals with your actual codebase. ChatGPT gives generic advice; NextSpec gives you specs that reference your real files and modules.

What tech stacks do you support?

NextSpec works with any major stack — React, Next.js, Python, Ruby, Go, Rust, and more. Our AST parser uses tree-sitter which supports 40+ languages. If your code is on GitHub, we can analyze it.

Can I use the specs with AI coding tools like Cursor?

Absolutely — that's the core idea. Every spec is optimized for AI coding tools. Export as Markdown and paste directly into Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot. The spec references your actual files and modules so the AI has full context.

Is there a free trial?

We're currently running a free beta for the first 30 users. No credit card required. After beta, all plans come with a 14-day free trial, and you can cancel anytime.

How quickly will I see value?

Within 5 minutes of connecting your repo, you'll get your first Code Map and initial market scan. Your first weekly action plan with specs arrives within 24 hours.

AI made coding fast.
Now make decisions fast.

Join 30 founders in the free beta. Connect your repo, get your first market-driven spec in under 5 minutes.
